The Redesign Company Opening Doors To Arts Careers
Our initiative has provided early-career opportunities for skilled college students interested in furniture and interior design careers, who may otherwise lack access to such vital experiences without this opportunity.
The program includes an educational component that gives interns face-to-face interactions with seasoned professionals across the field, increasing students’ knowledge of and connection with different material and technics in furniture industry.
Mentorship & Apprentice-Based Learning
Through our 3-months intern program, interns meet experienced staff involved in all facets of an institution’s functions and apply new skills under a supervisor’s guidance, working side-by-side with people who are experts in their field and building a professional network.
Authentic Work Experience
Within the scope of specific, time-bound assignments, interns complete meaningful work as a member of a team, and are encouraged to take initiative and shape projects with a fresh approach. We train the interns to handle hardships with patience and firmness, coach them to have discipline, punctuality, analytical abilities, encourage creativity, enhance their critical thinking, tolerance and kindness Interns finish the program having gained experience, skills, knowledge, and relation-ships that equip them for a future in the field.
